No Practical Purpose — Just Wonder

I wanted to build something that had no practical purpose. No productivity hack, no business case. Just 15,000 particles that respond to your hands and your music. PulseWave is that: pure play. Sometimes the best reason to build something is because it doesn't need one.

Where Technology Meets Art

PulseWave uses computer vision (MediaPipe) and Three.js to create a real-time 3D particle system that you control with nothing but your hands. No controllers, no special hardware — just your webcam and your gestures.

Your Hands Are the Controller

01

Open Hand — Expand particles into warm, hot colours

02

Closed Fist — Contract particles into cool, blue tones

03

Move Hand — Rotate the entire scene and shift the lighting

04

Toggle Music — Particles react to sound through your microphone

What Makes It Special
